• This medicine has been prescribed for you only. Do not pass it on to others. It may harm them, even if their symptoms are the same as yours.

How to use DORVENS-I drops
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has instructed you. When this medicine is used alone, the recommended dose is one drop in the affected eye(s) every 8 hours.
If your doctor has recommended that you use this medicine with a beta-blocker eye drop to lower eye pressure, then the recommended dose is one drop of DORVENS-I, in the affected eye(s) every 12 hours.
What DORVENS-I drops are and what they are used for
Category: carbonic anhydrase inhibitors DORVENS-I drops contain dorzolamide hydrochloride which belongs to a group of medicines called carbonic anhydrase inhibitors. DORVENS-I is prescribed to lower raised pressure in the eye and to treat glaucoma and can be used either alone or along with other medicines called ‘beta-blockers’
Instructions for use
If you wear soft contact lenses, they must be removed before applying DORVENS-I drops to the eyes.
What you need to know before you use DORVENS-I drops
Are allergic (hypersensitive) to Dorzolamide or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• Are wearing soft contact lenses. The lenses should be removed whilst you are applying DORVENS-I drops.
• Have severe kidney problems or a history of kidney stones. 
Contents of the pack and product description
The active substance is dorzolamide hydrochloride 2% w/v.
The other ingredients are benzalkonium chloride, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, mannitol, trisodium citrate dehydrate and water for injection.
