<\/span>What CIPROFLOXACIN Drops are and what they are used for <\/span><\/span>

Antibacterial <\/span>
CIPROFLOXACIN drops contain Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride, which belongs to a group of medicines called fluoroquinolone antibiotics. <\/span>
CIPROFLOXACIN is used to treat bacterial infections of the eye, including conjunctivitis and corneal ulcers.
<\/span>Instructions for use <\/span><\/span>
If you wear soft contact lenses these must be removed during treatment of the eyes with CIPROFLOXACIN Drops.
<\/span>What you need to know before you use CIPROFLOXACIN Drops Caution <\/span><\/span>
Do not use CIPROFLOXACIN if you:<\/span>
<\/strong><\/span>\u2022 Are allergic (hypersensitive) toCiprofloxacin, any other “quinolone” antibiotics (e.g. nalidixic acid), or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.<\/span>
\u2022 Are wearing soft contact lenses. These should be removed whilst you are using CIPR\u25a1FL\u25a1XACIN Drops. <\/span>
\u2022 Do not use CIPROFL\u25a1XACIN eye drops in children under 12 months of age.
<\/span>What CIPROFLOXACIN Drops contain:<\/span><\/span>
The active substance is Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride 0.3% w\/v.<\/span>
