<\/span>How to use INSENT-I drops <\/span>
Your doctor will not prescribe this medicine for you to use on your own. This medicine has been specifically developed for use by your doctor to numb the feeling in your eye(s) while they are treating it\/them; it is not to be used long-term. <\/span>
The usual dose is one drop into your eye(s) before starting the eye treatment procedure.
<\/span>What INSENT-I drops are and what they are used for <\/span>
Category: Anesthetic <\/span>
INSENT-I drops contain tetracaine hydrochloride which belongs to a group of medicines called local anesthetics.<\/span>
INSENT-1 drops are used to numb or block the feeling of pain in your eyes during short term medical procedures.
<\/span>Instructions for use<\/span>
If you wear soft contact lenses these must be removed during treatment of the eyes with IN SE NT-I<\/span> drops.
<\/span>What you need to know before you use INSENT-I<\/strong> drops<\/span>
Do not use INSENT-1 if:<\/span>
\u2022 You are allergic (hypersensitive) to tetracaine hydrochloride, other similar types of local anesthetics, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine. <\/span>
\u2022 You are wearing soft contact lenses. These should be removed whilst you are applying INSENT-1 drops. <\/span>
\u2022 You are being treated with a group of medicines called sulphonamides.
