TEAR-I

 What TEAR-I is and what it is used for:
TEAR-I is a slightly viscose solution that acts an artificial tear. It is used to treat dry eyes caused by a lack of natural tears in the eyes. Replacement of the missing natural tears whit a TEAR-I helps to soothe and lubricate your eyes and provide relief from irritation. It can also be used in patients who have artificial eyes. TEAR-I will help keep your eyes comfortable.
 How to use TEAR-I:
The usual dose is 1 or 2 drops of the solution in the corner of the eyes, nearest the nose, as often as is required during the day. Always use TEAR-I exactly as recommended. You should check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
 Instruction for use:
• Wash your hands before you start.
• Twist of the bottle cap.
• Look upwards and gently pull down the lower eyelid.
• Hold the TEAR-I bottle just above your eye and gently squeeze until some liquid falls in to the gap between your eyeball and lower eyelid
• Release the lower eyelid and move your eye, while open to ensure the solution covers the eye completely.
• Repeat the process in the other eye if necessary.
 What TEAR-I contains:
The active ingredients are polyvinyl alcohol 14 mg/ml.
The other ingredients are Disodium edetate, Hydroxy ethyl cellulose , disodium hydrogen phosphate 12H2O, sodium dihydrogen phosphate 2H2O, Sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride and purified water.

TEAR-I is a clear, colorless liquid supplied in a pack containing a 10 ml plastic bottle with a screw cap.
